I can see how it might have been a reasonably good read, but as a TV drama it just became more and more ludicrous. The plot was so contrived, it made no sense whatsoever, it continually contradicted itself. I know liberties are taken for dramatic effect, but this took the biscuit. Some of the lauded British modern dramas that have been screened recently are an insult to the discerning viewers intelligence, but this one takes the prize.

One word describes this film, hokum. Too many sully gadgets. I'm old enough to have seen all the bond films at the cinema and I'm afraid this one wouldn't make the top ten. Daniel Craig definitely doing the right thing and getting out. Be interesting to see who gets the gig next. A lot of hype surrounding this film which to my slightly jaundiced eye it didn't live up to.
