The only reason I would recommend this movie would be as a lesson in how NOT to write such a wildly eccentric (not in and of itself a bad thing) yet still somehow sophomoric (definitely a bad thing) storyline that is so disproportionately focused around a shamelessly prescribed (and quite corny) formulation of character development. It's like one of those movies where the character of the protagonist is based on the writer's life.
Just. Dont.
This slipshod mess of a movie is in the class of "Fast and Furious" films when it comes to plot and characters, except at least in the F&F version of cornball writing there exists the amplitude of explosions, car chases, gun fights, and sex scenes to distract me from the fateful fact that I'm watching a horrible movie.
That, or just for a couple hours of cringe-worthy unintentional comedy. This movie is also dripping with agenda, and is in all reality an ironically farcical scurrility to feminism, which is only underscored by the insultingly bizarre ending, an ending which only validated that nagging voice in my head throughout the movie telling me to just put on Star Trek reruns instead.
