I love this movie! It took me back to being a kid myself. Like what Martin/Merlin said in the movie "Every young person has an old/wise soul/spirit and every old person has a child-like soul/spirit". I may have miss quoted it just a little but u know what I mean. There's a lot to this movie that speaks to today's world. But what I mostly saw and heard came from a Biblical stand-point. How when we discover who we are (in Christ), we are able to put on our armor and stand up and fight against our demons. I saw the evil enchantress as the dragon that is mentioned in Revelations 12 and goes futher back to the Old Testament in Daniel. Martin/Merlin also said something very powerful. He told the children that they would have more battles to fight as they got older, but they could win them all if they stayed the course. It's like what Paul says to us in Hebrews 12:3, we must not become weary and give up, if we want to make a difference and see positive change in the world. I HIGHLY recommend this movie to everyone. Parents if u have children under the age of 13, I suggest sitting and watching with them. They may become a little frightened. This is a GREAT family movie!
