I don’t know why this movie has gotten bad reviews. Florence Pugh and Morgan Freeman are great actors who play their roles as very broken people realistically. Addiction is a reality in todays society, and this movie shows the struggles that ensue. I loved how the movie started and ended with a train set. It was a very powerful metaphor about creating a perfect world even though we know it’s not possible. However, sometimes we need to escape reality and create different worlds using our creativity.
