Pitch Mind

Great concept, poorly written. The movie was just okay -- and mostly due to well-choreographed fight scenes -- but that's about it. It had the potential for so much more, but the plethora of plot fodder and bland underwritten characters that are hard to care for get in the way of a sound story. Characters' actions had the most flaccid motivations, there was no weight to any severe misconduct or any real reason to care or worry, the biggest questions are left unanswered (some of which could have made for a much better main plot than what we were given, instead of being thrown in at the last scene), and the story is just a safe stroll along the path of least stakes, given the concepts that exist in-universe and their implications.
