Well strap up guys because I have a lot I need to say about this game!
First of all, Nintendo did kinda knock it out of the park throughout each update (up until late 2021 of course) and I was always hyped since it was the first Animal Crossing game I ever got super invested into. Now why is that? Well, simply put, it’s because I have a strong passion for decorating and I’m happy that they made a DLC that’s basically the sequel to HHD, another game I really enjoyed!
Now here’s where I start to get nit picky. Outside of decorating, there’s not a whole lot to do after completing the main storyline as it felt a little too short in my opinion and the daily tasks do start to become chores, which I’m sure I’m not the only one that feels this way. Another complaint I have is the lack of tasks villagers gave you. I understand if Nintendo felt like the amount of tasks they gave you in New Leaf was a bit overwhelming, but they definitely should’ve kept that. Not to mention, there are moments where the dialogue can get a little repetitive, though I do find it quite fascinating at times depending on the villager personality type. Aside from that, I don’t think the villagers are as bad as people make them out to be as someone who’s logged over 1.1k hours at the time of writing this review.
Overall, very good game, but I hope Nintendo can at least listen to others’ feedback,
