Yes no one can beat the acting of Nadigar Thilagam. This movie was remade in Telugu, Kannada & in Hindi. The cosmopolitan city Bangalore famous for theatres in India in those days. NTR, RajKumar and DilipKumar were hero of the said languages respectively. Thangapathakkam was Silver Jubilee movie in Bangalore. Usually the said heroes of their movies used to receive grand success but the remake of Thangapathakkam in Telugu, Kannada and Hindi got utter flop because of performance of Nadigar thilagam was the bench mark for the fans of the said other hereos. That is Sivaji Ganesan. Yes irrespective of heros of fans enjoyed and appreciated especially the performance of Nadigar thilagam. That's why in the second run the said movie was released in four theatres and crossed 50 days in 1978 where I enjoyed this movie with the fans of other states.

Enjoyable movie with Thala Ajit. Hollywood hero did holly wood movie. But this movie was totally spoiled by cameraman. Professional cameraman man is not at all required Director can use any ordinary person as a cameraman directing him with common sense which will do a lot. For the sake of Ajit we could bear the headache
