In short, I wanted to like the game because visually it looked amazing. It boasts nex gen souls but it's not. It's souls like but if you want to play a good souls like game then go play lies of P. The targeting system and clunky controls are my reasons for not wasting my time. It's not very fluid and once you input something there is no canceling so you're committed...to roll right off the edge to your death or better yet go to hit a boss and you target a mob randomly instead and they will kill you. I've played DS2,DS3, Elden Rings, Sekiro and recently lies of P. This goes down as probably DS2 frustration with the visual of Elden Ring. I expect better from a game boasting as next gen souls like.
