This is too stupid to be bared. The emperor has the brain of a rock. The daughter does not listen to anyone and only brings trouble. The young prince is just like the rest of their family. None of this makes any sense and you can tell the writer was just trying to weave crap together any way they could. I am at episode 4 and the things that happened and the reason is pure stupidity. Everyone is plotting something against everyone. With that much plotting they are their own worse enemy and no one find that strange or knows anything. The strange man that saved the concubine and her brother who is he? Where did he come from and what is his story. This should have been revealed by now. This is typical of Chinese dramas where every possible scenario is crammed into one drama until nothing makes logical sense. Also it is well beyond the time to drop all the humans flying in the air!

I saw this and did not think I would want to watch it for months. I just finished it and it was wonderful! It had me from the first episode and tossed me like salad in emotions. I laughed, I cried, got angry and was happy. For me this is a a keeper. It is not something I would watch again because it is etched in my mind. The entire cast was brilliant and perfect for the roles they played. I want to regret that it took so long for me to watch it, but somehow I feel it was the right time for it. This is one for the ages that any and everyone can identify with in some way. Thank you for such a great story, stupendous production, the actors and actresses, every thing that went into making this K-drama. The twins need their own accolades because they were outstanding in their roles. They both are keepers as I can see that they will only grow and get better if that is possible because they are great. I am always amazed at the child actors in K dramas!!! I am so glad that I have access to K-drama!!!!

If Kim So-Hyun never act again, he did this!! Had me all the way. He really showed how talented an actor he is. I loved when they were young but as I move to mid way when Zoe showed up, I found it increasing hard to continue to watch. So much was just not believable and I got tired of the FL and ML crying. I actually screamed at the TV for the male lead to man up. Then the mother asking can she take her daughter home from the police station and being allowed to do so! Who would do that. She has been gone 14 yrs., but it’s better to take her home than leave her at the police station. Finally the killer locks the detective in the place he was locked up in when the fire broke out? The detective had mush for brains. The timing was bad as well. On the good side there were consummate actors that carried this well enough for me to make it to the end.

This was so slow and dry that I cringed at the thought of trying to make it to the end. How anyone gave this high marks is a wonder to me. You have to have more than attractive actors, they have to be able to act, more than that, there has to be a well written script for them to act out!!!! This was so devoid of everything that makes a good show. Truly disappointed in this. Actors can not make a bad script good, this is the worst written script of all time.

This is awesomely good!! The male lead in this for me carried this. I don’t recall seeing home before but look forward to finding other shows he has done. I truly was sad to come to the end of this and happy at the same time to see how it ended, and that it was not the norm of having a perfectly happy ending. So strong and raw in your face reality of life at that time. Made me glad that I was not born, not only during this time, but any time that women were suppressed. I will be looking for more shows that the lead male has done as his acting was superb!!! When I get so involved that I feel it in my bones, then I know I am watching a good show. Stayed up all night without realizing I had until the day was dawning.

I am watching this now and it is one of the best k-dramas I have ever seen. It is one that will stay in my memory. I captured the main song as well because every time I hear it, I will remember this drama. It will take you on a roller coaster of emotions and leave you elated sometimes and completely wrung out other times. A good one to watch…

This was so predictable it is not funny. And how many times in one show can you have to couple fall over each other and wind up kissing? There was just way too much of that. I don’ t feel the leading actress was on par with the leading man as far as acting ability. I am actually watching it now and wonder if I will be able to finish it or give up on it.

This was so good and so cute. I really hope to see more from the cast in other production because they are talented. I enjoyed every minute of this.

This was ok… but the acting was a bit unnatural and not well done, especially the lead female role. I could not get why she was so angry and especially at the leading male as soon as she set eyes on him. She knew that her food was tampered with and who did it but she never confronted him. Very insensitive about the little boy..dragging him to confront his father.

Watching this is magical. Episode 8: “you are full of thorns and about to bust into tears”’ and then a kiss! I had to stop the show in wonderment and ask the question… who thought of this? It is so poetically beautiful in this particular scene and it is said from the mouth of this tall drink of water with the face of a God, and lips that…..make you weak in the knees. I love this show
