Decent cops and robbers flick, but tonally uneven and "off" in many ways. Reads sometimes like classic film noir followed by a scene straight from a comedy buddy film. Really weird in that way. Dialog is pretty ordinary, rarely memorable. This Director also seems to enjoy punctuating the hum drum story with blood splatter that barely moves the plot forward. Finally, why is it so long? Some of the scenes just never end.

I would call it a train wreck, but a train wreck would at least have been interesting.
