Such a great album. Some of his best work here. The music business cancelled him years ago. He wasn’t charged with a crime. He acknowledged his bad behaviour. He got sober. He apologised. Yet there is no redemption for this genius. Meanwhile, Tate loving psychos like Kanye continue to fill stadiums and are celebrated. We eat our own on the left. It’s a miserable disgrace that the best songwriter of a generation is being ignored.

A very interesting cinema experience. By the time the 2 and a half hour plus running time had elapsed, I'd seen multiple people leave and not return. One patron loudly expressing to their mate upon leaving that they were going to demand a refund (this at about the 50 minute mark). When the lights came up and the credits rolled the number of patrons had been reduced to just myself and one other. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Most, however, seemed not to.
