This one is complicated, I wish we would have just been dropped into a storyline that took place in an actual tournament. The acting was spotty for the most part but the actors playing Kano and scorpion were dope. The fights were super bloody which I dug of course but The hand to hand kombat wasn’t ferocious enough. The actor playing Liu kang was questionable and left me wanting more. I am hoping for more movies because I feel like we can only improve from here. It definitely wasn’t terrible. But the writing and dialogue needs to drastically improve. All in all the movie was enjoyable but honestly left me wishing the original cast was 15 years younger. #90s. Score: 6/10. This movie was a showcase for subzero. And that’s ok.
