This is an honest review to be clear, I loved the film and Alia Bhatt and other supporting actors did a great job. Alia Bhatt's mature acting took me by surprise. I really appreciate the film because it is talking about the topics nobody cares about. People don't care about the children raised by prostitutes or transgender. Their right to live a dignified life. This is a deep concept movie and people can’t understand the feeling what a woman feels when she is betrayed by her lover and not only that, she has been sold for only 1000 rupees. That feeling can only be felt by the person who has gone through this. And once you are in this line..sick men who have killed many or have caused physical damage and haven't gone to jail because no one complaints. I loved the movie for sure because I was trying to feel what she felt. Amazing!! You can praise people who plays Rani lakshmi bai..but you can't praise people who played a prostitute and fought for their rights and made us realise that they are humans too. Every human deserve to live a dignified life.
