It’s one of those masterpieces by Speilberg which is enjoyed by both kids and elderly people and will surely go down in history as one of the best cinematographic war movie. It’s a blend of fantasy in the conditions of war where throughout the movie, not for a single moment any negativity is felt.The thing which I liked the most is that the war is shown completely unbiased by the director.I was just not able to pick a side in the war at any scene. Both english and german sides were given equal share of good and bad. It was just pure brilliance. The locations and times of the day chosen for the shots were so accurate that it actually felt a disney movie and not a war one. And then the bonding of the boy with the horse, it makes us feel wanting a horse for ourselves too. Overall this movie is gonna remain close to anyone who watches it and embraces it. Those two hours feel like we went through the entire war and then came back home in our cozy bed. That’s just how good it is.
