You can say that Everything about direction is in a very high level of course its not too weird because it has one of the best living directors in the world Stiven Spielberg in director position. Things like filming and framing, coloring and lights. And I have to say I loved Michelle Williams acting and the others were good also. But somtimes your thinking that the movie is so much long and your can't get a good connection with it and that's because of the incoherent story that gets to far of the main story somtimes and even maked me bored in some moments.

The direction of the film is excellent in almost every aspect. .But it also has weaknesses that cannot be easily overcome. Weaknesses that generally originate from the movie script. For example, the film has no message or anything new to present compared to other war films, and it only tells the story of the very difficult situation of a soldier in the First World War, and like many war films, it is showing the ugly and dark face of war. not more. ever though the exciting and action scenes of the film were well done (which is due to the excellent direction of the film), but many times it falls out of rhythm and noticeably (and not too much) makes you bored and the rhythm as a whole It is not regular, which is considered one of the problems of the script. The characterizations and acting that do not have a lot of quality also doesn't let the identification to form very well. Of course, in the end, the strong points of the film should not be forgotten. Such as the thought out ,the film has meny strengths too like the direction of form and content ,creating atmosphere, beautiful and eye-catching frames, and the nail-biting action of the film, most of which are thanks to the excellent direction of this work. In general, this movie is a good and not great war movie that fulfills the expectations of a war movie, but does not go beyond it and is at *good* level.

I have a lot of criticism from the screenplay for, for no reason slow rhythm but it has a very good characterizations especially for the main character (mank). Actings are great especially (Gary Oldman) ,we can't deny his amazing acting. The movis has a lot of useless dialogue that take you from the main story and doesn't let you to communicate with the movie and its another problem I have with the screenplay. Director is good and spatialization makes us feel more connected. And by the way I have to say that loved that part of editing that was narrating the movie like an actual screenplay.
