Chris Ryan

I am a Scorsese fan and have enjoyed his films for years. But I believe this overwrought masterpiece may have overestimated an audience’s patience and ability to sit through a ponderous plot and uber-slow pacing. Well-acted of course but simply overblown. Could have been a pretty good two hour movie. It would also be helpful to know when “reality” ended and “presumption” began in the final half of the movie. Best part of the movie: Joe Pesci.
