It was way ahead of its time. I watched it in 2023 it’s still relevant. Dialogues, acting and screenplay is really brilliant. AB was phenomenon in his role. It’s one of the finest and raw performance I have ever seen. Rani was also potrete her Bengali heritage really well. Ajay, Bibek and Esha was also brilliant. Kareena tried her level best but I’m sure great Mani Ratnam wants more in this role. Overall a great movie with great performance by all.
