Do yourself a favour and believe that Riverdale was a short series with only one season. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever after season one. It received a lot of hype and good reviews and unfortunately the later seasons are way below par. There would be one good episode which makes some sense and just when you're thinking finally the show is on the right track the next few episodes would off set your enthusiasm and you just go back to hating it. But yes, season one was pretty good.
