Cliches and machismo all the way.

A weak script with cliches and poor acting didn’t help. I wanted to like this, but couldn’t. Giving it a score of 1 was being generous. Some of the character arcs were just plain silly…especially Boris and Natasha.

I thought it had great potential, but the air was let out of this helium balloon toward the end of the movie. They seemed to dance over the some super serious subject matter if this fluffy piece of marshmallows.

A bit of creme puffery, this film never gets into the essence of either The Beatles music or their musical evolution. Instead it is a simple-minded and cliched boy meets girl plot with Beatles music thrown in. John would be turning over in his grave at the banality (there is nothing searing about it). JMHO.

This is a poorly written, illogical plot. That said, it may show the truth about how a police force actually works. Don't they have any semi-competent solicitors in the UK? Is that the way the accused/witness interview process works? Watch it to see how things don’t make sense. Essentially, it is about a poorly written and unsympathetic character/lunatic, who happens to be a police detective. BTW, she's no Sherlock Holmes in any sense,

What happened to Arnold and DeNiro? They’ve accepted movie rolls with poor scripts that are way beneath them. Awful and full of cliches, they had gravitas as actors at one time. Now they are relegated to B movies. FUBAR is a 5 hour series that could have been edited down to 2 hours and it would have made it just a bit better. But not much. Netflix: you just wasted your money.
