This movie is not for everyone. This movie is not for most people. I for one, thought it was one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. If you happen to be an “indie-rocker,” (which there aren’t many of these days) the music should strike a chord with u. I watched this movie two days ago and haven’t stopped listening to the sound track since. The final scene blew me away! People say it’s not about the destination, but the journey itself. And this film is quite the musical/emotional journey. Slowly, the seemingly closed off, artistic masked hero named Frank unravels. Revealing the dark beauty of a feeble soul. All imagery aside, this was one of the most beautiful movies I’ve ever seen.

The most ho hum Wes Anderson experience I’ve ever encountered. Despite a splurge of A list actors, this tale of extra terrestrials in the desert falls flat on its face. What kind of world are we living in when Wes Anderson doesn’t make good movies anymore?
