I am a Craftsman and this show has some great artists but the judges are the absolute worst. They are annoying, sexist, unhelpful, and don't actually judge by any real measurable criteria!! Despite being a show about fabrication, they don't ever talk about skill or execution. They claim to be looking for artistic input and then trash talk the artists or discount their explanation of a piece. They don't give specific parameters for any of the pieces and then dock imaginary points for not reading their minds. There were so many misunderstandings and issues with the rules that it was obvious that the rules were the problem. One of the judges, Stephanie, would question the cis-men on their execution but openly and often questioned everyone else on their ability and dismissed their artistic input. Absolute trash judges, the prompts made little sense, and it was the worst format for a competition show I have ever seen. I feel terrible for the artisans, they were cheated.
