Serious film for those who already know something about Auschwitz- “the banality of evil” is proved here.

I’ve been interested in Jagerstetter’s life for a long time so this film really fleshed out my knowledge of him. Beautiful scenery and excellent musical choices. Not everyone would use a Gorecki piece in a movie. I wish there had been a little info on his reputation in Austria for a long time after his death. Many saw him more as an anti-hero.
