What an inspired choice to adapt a book but take out most of what made it interesting. RIP all of Alex and Henry's actual personalities, RIP Nora being a compelling character, RIP all the female and queer characters who were inexplicably cut entirely despite playing crucial roles in the story. RIP the nuanced and powerful political story that was exchanged for a tired gay villain trope. What an utter disappointment.
