Quick note: probably not appropriate for small children. With that out of the way this movie is VERY good! Animation is top tier in style and consistency, the fight and movement choreography is suburb in how impactful, quick and, weighty the hits feel. The movie is also both very fun and serious at the same time which is a nice balance to strike. The antagonists are all great! One of them my new favorite Shrek universe villains, another is hilarious in how twisted and fun he is, and the last group has a nice crime family dynamic. While the story is simple in scope - find the thing and get a wish - the themes and development of the characters was surprisingly deep for the sequel to puss in boots. I don't recommend bringing your 5 year old, like all the 1 star reviewers did, but it's an amazing movie, and they can go see it when they're a little older
