Muramba is a marathi dish made out of fruits, primarily of Mango. Muramba sometimes tastes sweet and other times sour. Thats what the film tells you about life - it is sometimes sweet and other times sour, and with right understanding between partners, we can enjoy life.
Muramba tells a story of a modern couple, modern parents in a modern era. But the makers have skillfully inserted non-ephemeral elements in the films such as making efforts for what you love, facing your fears, basics of love etc. The film's minimalistic background score allows one to focus on the dialogues in the film with gravity. All the lead characters have done a wonderful job in the film, especially Ameya.
Now about the plot, the film starts with break up of three year relationship of Alok and Indu one night. Upon realising the same next morning, Alok's parents effort for conciliation between the two and the entire films surrounds around the theme. (I won't tell you if they succeeded.)
The film has many humurous, funny and emotional moments. Above all, it's a film keeps you hooked to the screen. May be within the plot few more scenes could have been added to make the film more impactful. But overall, it's a refreshing film one must watch!
