As soon as the mom mentioned that Kayla had been trying to get out of going to the retreat, I thought that the girls staged it so they wouldn't have to go to the dance retreat. I didn't think Brittany was dead from that point forward. But even if I had thought she was dead, it made no sense that the mom sped up the car and purposefully ran over Brittany's dad. So what if he went to the police with his suspicions. He didn't have any evidence, and the police already suspected Kayla. Killing him didn't protect Kayla at all. It just wasn't believable that the mom would kill him. That part ruined it for me. It would have been waaaay better if Brittany had come back and gotten in trouble with the police for this charade. It should have ended with both girls being sent to boot camp or some similar place where they could learn to grow up. I didn't feel for them at all when Kayla cries saying she wants them all to be close again. Lot of people have broken homes. I can't relate to going to these lengths to restore my broken home. Craziness.
