as a hardcore lion king fan i was really disappointed. the trailer was more epic than the movie itself, there wasn't much emotions (not only because of the expression) but the settings of the scene. everything was rushed, just when i was feeling said they already changed the scene (i dont understand how it happened even when it reaches 2 hours) nothing felt dramatic. the animated had more soul that sent chill through the spine. this movie didn't reach it. when Mufasa died i didn't even cry, his death wasn't depressing anymore, i only felt Simba's sadness during the flashback. Mufasa's spirit wasn't as spectacular either. i thought i was going to cry from the emotions but nope the music was amazing but the animators focused too much on making it seem real but didnt do much on the dynamics of the movie and scenes. but on the bright side, the graphic was amazing and so were the actors. they so left out the legendary soundtracks.
