I’m a huge fan of the Death in Paradise series, so I was super excited for an Aussie version. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I would not recommend this tv show - Not only was the background music edited over the audio through the scenes, the writing was a bit lacklustre. The main detective was shoehorned into a character that didn’t make sense for the series. Each detective from the Death in Paradise series had an obvious quirk about them, this was an element that was missing in the series.
