Honestly, the concept and story aren't bad. I'm sure the film was made with good intentions towards the transgender community, and perhaps an effort to be inclusive was made. However, as a non-binary individual, I say this film is absolute trash representation. The fact that Lili was played by a cisgender man is the thing that upsets me the most. Surely it couldn't've been that difficult to find an actual transgender woman to play the part? I'm surprised not many people in the reviews are talking about this. The acting was wonderful though, props to all the actors <3
