Duck Pilot

I was hoping that the Acolyte would be a decent show, but instead it ended up being a complete disgrace to Star Wars. I have not been impressed with some other Star Wars movies and shows recently, but I would not give any of them only one star. The Acolyte however is a new low for the franchise. In every episode it is evident that the writers lack critical thinking and even basic logic. The motivations and decisions of the characters change on a whim. The acting and dialogue is painful to watch. The only positive about this show I can think of is the visuals. Everything else is abysmal. I believe the main reason behind this is very simple. The people involved in the making of this show have their existence defined by socio-politics. They have no respect for what actually makes a good story. I sincerely hope that there will not be another Star Wars project worse than this. Unfortunately there probably will be.
