Starts off lean and mean and then evolves into a biblical allegory of a reborn desperado doing battle with a snorting, moody bull like adversary. Lots of menacing looks and dark glances punctuated by many achingly alluring hoodlums shot down in a hail of bullets. Great stuff if you like that sort of gangster schtick but rather runs out of steam by series 5.
