It has very little to do with the movie and is nothing like the original novel. An excellent show but misleading in the name. I still would've watched it under a different name but my enjoyment of the show was marred by the expectation of whiny Louis and sadistic lestat in the the 1700s rather then Louie and lestat in the 1920s. Great story just 🤷♀️ expected the classic characters I love, it's re imagined.
