Both me and my wife grew up watching and loving both of those great shows . So I was very excited that Norman Lear and Jimmy Kimball assembled such a talented group of actors! However I was skeptical that any cast could hold a candle to the past greats of both great shows!! My wife and I were both blown away how well it went ! We laughed through out both shows!! Well done and Bravo! Not only did these shows make us laugh now and then they also made its viewers take a hard look at the prejudices and social injustices that we had then and still have now! Lastly , It was so great to see the still beautiful Marla Gibbs ! Having her be part of the new cast was incredible! Two thumbs up !!!

A reconstructed version of the Christmas classic. A Christmas Carol is a traditional read that I enjoy every year. Along with the book I watch the many movie versions of this classic. I must admit watching a version of the story that strays from the actual story annoys me to no end. Until I watched this “ reconstructed “ version of Scrooge’s soul being taken from his darkness to being brought into the light. I totally enjoyed this adaptation of the story and it’s excellent acting. This will be a Christmas tradition that I will watch every year!
