I wonder why people would say it's a bad comedy, I found nothing comic about the show (are they even talking about the diplomat, I had to double check) or being paid to give it a bad review? I found that the writer was knowledgeable about current politics and see it introduced throughout the show. By introducing the narrative that senior officials would just about do anything to stay in power even kill their own citizens, was up there with conspiracy theorist, it makes me want to watch the second season to see how Ms Russel deals with these discoveries. Lastly, it's interesting how the character of Kerri Russel is able to read the room, pic on nuances and turn it into useful information, that's the role of a diplomat. Hope we get to see more. well done!
