A great show particularly as there are so few on Africa. Brilliant presenters except for Sophie Ikenye's hit and miss pronunciation for a BBC Anchor. As I have written before we use the programme to teach the children proper UK pronunciation. We constantly have to edit out Sophie Ikenye's hit and miss pronunciation of English words. She is great, but this is not the standard for a BBC anchor. If its not acceptable on BBC Afrique, it not not fair to subject us to this standard of pronunciation on the BBC as an anchor. It is insulting that the BBC, just to be politically correct expects us to put up with this. We have to explain her pronunciation so many times - we'll have to switch off. Please maintain the standard of all the other presenters, so far. We deserve better.
