I like the movie as entertainment but I cannot promote it because it delivers bad messages to children. It teaches children not to work hard in school, hates their mothers who love them, does things behind their parents' back when they are only a child, keep secrets from parents who protect them, school is no fun and bad for them, breaking the law, disturbing neighbors, and getting good grades is a bad thing. Asians in America have very limited opportunities. The only way for Asians to make a living is through hardworking, education, and professional licenses. A bachelor's degree gets you nowhere as an Asian. You need to go to graduate school and you have almost no chance to go to a good school without getting all As particularly when the educational opportunity for Asians is limited by affirmative actions. Asians cannot get into Yale or Harvard even with a 1595 SAT score and a 4.0 when others can get in with just 1400 or even lower. The movie is telling our children to ignore school and go to concerts? I believe Disney wants to keep Asians staying at the bottom and earn not "a" living but half living by selling photo ops wearing a costume and going onto the welfare lines to meet ends. I am keeping my children away from Disney. Disney is not on our vacation list this year or next. Tell Disney to sell their $200 theme park tickets and $600/night hotels to the Chinese who make a living by selling photo ops at their temples if they can find any. This is a very racist movie.
