Game of Thrones is a benchmark in the high fantasy TV Genre. The fantastical elements are not the central premise of the show but it is the connections between characters and the seven families contesting their claim to the throne and then someone else totally to annihilate it all. Scheming, treachery, sex, royalties, laws and battles are high point of the show. Character development is so carefully done that one often find himself either rooting for the character or scheming against one. The story is unpredictable as it doesn't holds itself back to kill of a character. To sum it up in a quote from the show itself, "If you play Game of Thrones, you either win or you die."

I expected a same old love story being told numerous times but seriously it was Avinash Tiwary, playing Majnu, who just took my breath away and moved me to tears. Even when we all know the story, just trust Imitiaz Ali, sit through a little cliched first half of the film and then have a treat in the second half.
