Yes, it’s a sweet film, but not teeth churning saccharine. Yes, it’s not gonna test your brain cells, but kept me hanging for the next disaster. Yes, it’s an all ages, family film, but then again, so was Toy Story! Just LOVED the optimism against all odds vibe of the family. Warm tummy cuddles viewing 🤗🤗🤗🤗

Creeper cult film. Is teen discovery, meets parental lockdown, meets maniac with the right words and 6 pack. Have probably seen it 10 times and still get the adrenaline rush of what’ll happen next. Is a really excellent, kinda graphic, violent, everyday horror. Who needs Jason when you’ve got a spurned Wahlberg?!?!

Brilliant!! Sharp humour with an innocence that makes you wanna hug a goalpost!

Loved it!! Found the language and initial 15mins more disturbing than the zombie action, but kinda added to the humanity and humour of the piece! Real life is more scary than an apocalypse. Everyone, including the kids, play their parts with absolute charm and the storyline leaves you feeling uplifted. A real quirky comic foul-mouthed find.

Look, the highbrow critics often require a depth and drama that foreign language art house cinema creates in droves. Me? I want entertainment, humour, thrills, spills and joy... all of which Love And Monsters is bursting at the seams with! I cheered for the dog, sobbed for Mavis, fell in love with the protagonist and had a rollicking ace time. Sod the purists. This film is an absolute classic. Sequels please 🤩

Stirs, stuns and, without romanticism or soap back stories, just tells it like it was. REALLY moving, heart in gob stuff. Not even English and felt patriotic!!!!!

Absolute classic! Love, love, love the humour, the script, the stunning setting and Cary Grant’s crusty performance. Yes, it’s sentimental, but since when did that become a movie crime?
