The series were only good initially. They should just have stuck to one main plot. The sub-plots were just a lame attempt to prolong what would've been a promising one-season thriller into a soapy, draggy multi-season show with bad writing and some cringey acting.

A total waste of talent, money, time. What were Sam Neill and Noomi Rapace thinking to have accepted a role in this mess of a flick? And Henry Golding? He can kiss the hope of being an action star goodbye forever.

What's not to love about the series?I keep going back to episodes after episodes of the brilliant acting (albeit over-the-top performances by some cast members), lavish sets and costumes while marveling at the twists and turns of the plot of this masterful palace intrigue.
