You know, you could write your own sci fi series without destroying an entire franchise because you're threatened no one would be interested in your originality. as a long time star wars fan. this is not star wars. this is matriarchal jealousy against an ageless epic.

this garbage film that took the liberty of inserting modern ideology into my culture's history. Disney's Prey was absolutely absurd. it spit in the face of the divinity native American culture held in respects to our men's treatment toward our women. of all the songs, poetry and traditional stories given to me by my elders, the prospect that men treated women with such disrespect painted by disney to make a movie is definitely not ideal. No it was NOT a perfect society, but not showing the celebration of my culture's women and the love the men held for them spiritually was blatantly disregarded to meet some modern quota. And I feel disrespected. I don't normally rant like this but... dang. I just had to speak up on this. like white people let the media demonize their men, and I ain't about that. leave our patriarchs out of your schemes. NOT TO MENTION -- women were never eager to compete with the men in their tribes. The people worked together to allow the prosperity of the tribe as a whole to thrive. they weren't winey little brats who had to fight the patriarchy. They embraced order and embraced their divine femininity.
