Water. Earth. Fire. Air. Long ago the four nations lived in harmony... but everything changed when the fire nation attacked. Imma stop myself right there, but if you don’t like this show? ... what is wrong with you. It covers important topics, the characters are likeable, the humour is.. I don’t know how to describe it but it makes you chuckle. The romance isn’t rushed, it’s real and cute and simple. They don’t treat disabilities like “oh you’re so sweet and helpless and-“ no, they own it. Even have some fun with it. I think zuko has an unmatched redemption arc and I enjoy rewatching it from time to time and was my absolute Favorite series as a kid and kinda still is. I could go on for decades. (Maybe not that long, but you know... it’s a good show.) watch it. Now. This is an order.

I thought maybe a new show, would bring some better perspective to the way Milian was approaching cases, because the last couple of years on Peoples Court were less about the law and more opinion and ranting - often inappropriate behaviour that in a real court of law would be censured. Understandably, there are other rules that govern mediation/arbitration (few in fact!), so I decided to watch the occasional new series, until I see the one regarding the mad woman with the grocery cart! What a complete miscarriage of justice!! No where under the law are we allowed to use whatever force we like in “defence” of ourselves or others - only reasonable force! The “woman” testified ad nauseam that she was “creating space”, however, the minute she let go of the cart, that arguement fails and she was using unreasonable force! It was clearly, unabashedly, a case of 2 women with a grudge against men (whether justifiably or not), who acted unreasonably. She approached the couple first - screaming - why wasn’t that considered threatening?!?! Instead, when he responds, he’s in the wrong, and she weaponizes a grocery cart, and doesn’t just put it between them to “create space”, but shoves it and let’s go of it! This is wrong, and she should have been punished! She’s not god, she’s not the police and no one appointed her any position to make assumptions! Both the women had every opportunity and “reason” to be vindictive towards men - and they did so. Milian was too blind and too “woke”, to take a stand where she should have! This was reverse sexism at its uglyiest!! Shame, shame shame on the show and on Milian! A disgusting display of just what’s wrong with society at present! The pendulum has swung so far to the left, that civilization is crumbling/burning around us, while the majority “fiddle”.
