Though this movie claims relation to a true story it has nothing to do with reality. Other than there was a female spy working for the Soviets everything is made up. The real person was not a scientist at all, married before WW II in 1935 and started spying soon after, way before Hiroshima that the movie portrays as an inflection point in her thinking. She had a daughter not a son. Total fraud shamelessly exploiting "True story" tagline.
