Yes, this movie is based on real events. I just watched it for the first time on tv at work. It was really good. I didn't even know about this case, but I'm glad justice was done for all the victims! Nicholas Cage, John Cusack, and Vanessa Hudgens were all great in their roles and told Cindy Paulson's survival story very well.

I love this movie. I love Emma Stone. I'm usually pretty over "teen movies", but this one is one of my faves. I also loved that Lisa Kudrow was in it. It was like, "Hey! Phoeboe!" Lol..

It was alright. Plenty gorey. You can totally see the fakeness of the giant croc though. I don't want to put in any spoilers, but I could tell the survivors were going to be who they were too.

The jump scares didnt get me, but to be fair, I'm hard to get. As far as the suspense, I was on the edge of my seat, biting my nails, and talking to my TV the whole time... but at the end, I was like, "Whhhhaaaaaat?" and jumped straight on Google lol.
