I love the show there are some flawsand I know the laws are different in some states but Harvey said something about a septic tank on one’s property being overtaken by roots by the neighbors tree. He said there could be a case and you could cut the roots back on the tree. However there are rules and guidelines which are basically called building codes you must abide in especially with the septic tank or runoff from your property and the distance from the property where I’m from is 150 feet from the property line and 50 feet from the rear of your house. So the roots should never reach the septic tank unless it’s one heck of a tree.
