I'm astonished by the poor reviews of this movie. Its story up front isn't terribly compelling, but by the end it comes together really well and, if you let it, it will touch your soft spot. But I think the movie shines because of Rudd's performance. If an actor can make you hate a character for the right reasons you know they did it well. A wholesome dude made a very frightening character in a movie I didn't expect to deliver much.
It's a good movie deserving to be reconsidered by other reviewers.
