I genuinely want to support the Punjabi film industry, but the disappointment I've faced with recent films has made it difficult. After being let down by Amrinder Gill's movie, Rajni, and now Ardaas, it's clear to me that these films lack strong direction and a coherent storyline. While Ardaas had a good subject, a good movie can't just rely on a meaningful theme — it needs an intuitive and engaging narrative to keep the audience invested.
Unfortunately, this film, like others before it, failed to deliver on that front. I sincerely hope the Punjabi film industry improves in the future and starts creating films with the depth and direction that audiences deserve.
