I think ppl have been brainwashed into believing this game isn't a lot like the first two games or not as good as them. It has just the right amount of exploration and gunplay and grotesque imagery and scary and unnerving scenes galore. Play the game and enjoy because if you remove the false public opinion from your senses and enjoy this game how it is, it's definitely dead space part 3. I did myself the disservice of passing on this game in 2013 because general favorable public review kept pushing the idea it wasn't like the other two games for some reason. Glad it's on xbox backwards compatibility because now I get the chance to enjoy the game I passed on for the wrong reasons.

If I hadn't played on gamepass I probably wouldn't have ended up playing it, but I would have to say after really enjoying 3, underwhelmed by 4 , which made me wary about 5, I'd say it's actually worth purchasing, takes advantage of the one x hardware, and offers alot of new tech to showcase at this point in time. I don't think I've seen anything look and play this good making it a great visual showcase for sure.
