This is the movie that would have easily made a billion dollars or more. Even being 4 hours it is one of the rare 4 hour movie that is rewatchable. This is far superior than Josh Whedon’s version. The story is much better. Still some wonky CGI but it’s forgiven. Steppenwolf has a better design and no longer looks like an unfinished clay project. The music is much better and the editing is cleaner.
Only real draw back is it plays in 4:3 ratio. (The standard box tv size vs wide screen). But once the film starts, you don’t notice. I can’t quite say why, but it has more magic to it that good films tend to have. It plays epically. AND the heroes get more air time and thank god for that. I won’t get too specific as I don’t want to spoil it.
You will notice the better movie from minute one. I was so disappointed with The previous one, also WW84, Batman vs Superman.
I clapped.
