Excellent movie that addresses one of the most pressing needs of societies around the world - for fathers to step up and perform their role in the fullest possible way, be present for their kids, trust in God and guide the family in Christ's way. The 'Resolution', derived from the Bible, was simply brilliant and is truly a handy guide to the duties of fatherhood. I wish more movies like this are made. No cussing, no sleaze, no fancy graphics or big movie names. Netflix rates this movie 18+ due to 'substance', probably because drugs are shown cursorily in a couple of scenes. That's an unfair rating and there may be a vested interest in that. This movie is most certainly for general viewing with a capital G.

The cinematography is masterful. The acting is simply excellent and the casting is spot on. I never considered Gul Panag to be much of an actress but she was a pleasant surprise as the wife of the main character. The storyline was the big letdown and I have deducted 2 stars mostly for this. Everything goes along well and the suspense is maintained until about the 8th episode (there are 9 in the first season), you realise that the story has been overegged. There was no need for the largely unseen villains to go to any of this trouble to do what did. I won't give any more away lest I end up spoiling it for those who are yet to watch it. Then the gratuitous sex scenes. Please, can these be toned down somewhat? I am no prude but, come on, this sticking in of sexual overtones and outright sexual activity has gone overboard.
