Beautifully researched and presented book about an important campaign in WWII. The exploits of these men, both pilots and support crews, culminated in amongst the most adventuresome and important contributions in the second world war. Many, many didn't come home alive. Those that did, came home different people. The struggles were mighty, and their accomplishments should never be forgotten. The mention of Sgt. Fred Decobellis is important to me, by the way. Thanks to Mr. Stout for the conscientious work behind this marvelous project.
